| This page is for those proud owners of one of this litter. I know I have been a little slow updating this page and the rest of the website but, maybe I will get better about that. I am removing some of the older pictures I have for each pup and adding new ones if I have them. If any of you would like a cd with all the pictures I have of your pup please let me know & I will get that to you. #1) Maddie has remained a sweetheart all the way through.
#2) Belle loves to go for walks with her people and is learning how to behave very nicely.
January 2010 update: Here is a story about Belle "The Cattle Dog"
I think Belle is finally going to make a cattle dog.
Some how the chain on my gate that separates the cows from my hay broke
today. I guess from the wind moving the gate back and forth weakened
the small chain and it finally broke. Anyway I walked down there with
Belle and let her in and told her to get em and she knew exactly what to do.
She knew the cows were not suppose to be in there and worked the whole herd
back and forth, back and forth towards the open gate. She even worked
the cows that were fighting her because of calves and got everyone of them
back in the right pasture without me doing anything but watching, it was a
sight to behold. It was so cold out there and I didn't have to stay
out in it and work for long. When I got back to the house she got her
reward. She knew she had done well and was excited about it as I was.
After tearing up her bedding she is now back in my graces and she knows it.
Sandy doesn't know it yet but I may have to get me another one. HaHa
#3) Moonlight is busy trying to learn how to play with her little people. She has discovered the deer in her back yard which provides some good running exercise.
I am looking forward to getting pictures of Moonlight so I can see how much she has grown. I got an update on Moonlight and am so excited to tell you how she is doing. She has a new little boy in her family. She loves to herd the chicken and rooster that live in her back yard. She is still working on figuring out what her people really want her to do. Look at these pictures. She has really grown.
#4) Shiner has a wonderful home and already has them wrapped around his finger (oops) toe. He has 2 kitties who are not near as excited to see him as he is them but he is learning.
Shiner came to see us a few weeks ago. I am amazed at how much he has grown. Below are some pictures taken recently.
#5) Griff has such a great personality He does still test the water to see what he can get away with.
October 2008 update: Griff has become quiet a companion. He runs with his family and sometimes from them (with treasures in hand oops mouth). He plays chase and sometimes lets them get fairly close. You know how humans are you have to let them think they can catch you. He has become quiet a handsome lad.
#6) Lil Ann is the one was chosen out of this litter to remain in the family and become a Mama of Skip's pups.
Little Ann is quiet a little mess. She knows her name and loves the extra attention that goes with coming. She has found her voice now and lets you know when she thinks things are not going the way they should. When she was about 3 months old she decided she was big enough to take a toy away from Skip since he took it away from her. She had the audacity to growl at Skip. The first time he just looked at her with a look of shock on his face. The second time he got MAD. For days he growled every time he saw her. One of the funniest things is when Skip, Mitzi and Lil Ann are chasing each other. When she can't keep up she cries and puts on a real act. Lil Ann 1 week before
her first litter is to be born. #7) Gyp is now living on her ranch. She is full of energy and takes care to give her people laughs. She has a very special home on a large ranch with lots of cattle. Her name is Gyp
I can't wait to get new pictures of her. #8) Scout gets to do blood trailing and hunting. Fun, Fun.
Well, Scout went hunting his first weekend. I am sure he was really tired by the time the weekend was over. Scout is doing very well and enjoys hunting. Following is a picture of him that I recieved. Scout is now 9 months old. Here are some pictures of him.
December 2009 Update:
Here is a recent picture of Scout in the deer stand with me (he watches the deer
at 15 yrds and does not make a sound). I have some amazing stories on his blood
trailing too. I have been around some great dogs in my hunting career and I will
put him up against any of them. He has learned not only to bark when he finds
them alive and pin them until I get there but when they are dead he comes back
to get me, then takes me to them again. He is an amazing hunting partner and the
best personality/lovable dog there is.
#9) Bo is a sweet pup. He has quiet the personality and gets his feeling all hurt if you don't pay attention to him. We have begun calling him Stormy because a storm brews when he thinks he isn't getting enough attention and then the second my hand goes under his little tummy he gets all happy again.
This one went to a gentleman who has some land in Fredericksburg. I am anxious to get an update on him. Bo has a man who he lets go with him just about everywhere he goes. Even hunting. Here is a picture of Bo and I am looking forward to getting some more soon.
#10) This little one now lives with George & Kristen. Her name is
Amiga. She is doing great and is really happy with all the new things to
see and do.
#11) Champ now has a new home with 3 children to give him plenty of exercise. He is doing very well and keeping his family very busy.
New pictures arrived. I am so excited. |
