This page is for those proud owners of one of this litter.  I know I have been a little slow updating this page and the rest of the website but, maybe I will get better about that.  I am removing some of the older pictures I have for each pup and adding new ones if I have them.  If any of you would like a cd with all the pictures I have of your pup please let me know & I will get that to you.

Maddie at 10 months.JPG (574590 bytes)    Maddie in the water again.JPG (529772 bytes)    Maddie at 10 Months old.  Maddie loves to go fishing with her family.  She is very good at helping retrieve the fish.  Don't know why they are not as thrilled as she is.

#2)  Belle loves to go for walks with her people and is learning how to behave very nicely.

100_2361.JPG (763647 bytes)        100_2414.JPG (1736869 bytes)     1st week to 10 days. 100_2459.JPG (645785 bytes)        100_2461.JPG (526367 bytes)     2lbs .80oz at 2 weeks

January 2010 update:  Here is a story about Belle

"The Cattle Dog"

I think Belle is finally going to make a cattle dog.
Some how the chain on my gate that separates the cows from my hay broke today.  I guess from the wind moving the gate back and forth weakened the small chain and it finally broke.  Anyway I walked down there with Belle and let her in and told her to get em and she knew exactly what to do.  She knew the cows were not suppose to be in there and worked the whole herd back and forth, back and forth towards the open gate.  She even worked the cows that were fighting her because of calves and got everyone of them back in the right pasture without me doing anything but watching, it was a sight to behold.  It was so cold out there and I didn't have to stay out in it and work for long. When I got back to the house she got her  reward.  She knew she had done well and was excited about it as I was.
After tearing up her bedding she is now back in my graces and she knows it.
Sandy doesn't know it yet but I may have to get me another one. HaHa

#3) Moonlight is busy trying to learn how to play with her little people. She has discovered the deer in her back yard which provides some good running exercise.

100_2394.JPG (1694020 bytes)    1 week to 10 days old  100_2453.JPG (455900 bytes)    2lbs, .78oz.  2 weeks old

100_2492.JPG (490836 bytes) Three weeks and 4lbs and 04oz.  100_2536.JPG (1330167 bytes)  What is going on over there? Next thought is "Let's go see" She can be quiet a little stinker at times.

I am looking forward to getting pictures of Moonlight so I can see how much she has grown.

I got an update on Moonlight and am so excited to tell you how she is doing.  She has a new little boy in her family.  She loves to herd the chicken and rooster that live in her back yard.  She is still working on figuring out what her people really want her to do.  Look at these pictures.  She has really grown.

Moonlight 7mths.JPG (213303 bytes)    She looks a lot like Mitzi.    7 mths old.JPG (170254 bytes)    She is getting to be such a young lady.

#4)  Shiner has a wonderful home and already has them wrapped around his finger (oops) toe. He has 2 kitties who are not near as excited to see him as he is them but he is learning.

    100_2376.JPG (676704 bytes)    1 week to 10 days old. 100_2467.JPG (643270 bytes)  2lbs, .98oz at 2 weeks old

100_2496.JPG (509439 bytes)    Three weeks and now weighs 4lbs and .02ozs. 100_2526.JPG (541816 bytes) Investigating  100_2568.JPG (1158039 bytes)     Five weeks old and busy.  This little one tends to be pretty aggressive, does not like to be held but does want attention.

100_2645.JPG (795845 bytes)    Eight weeks  No privacy!!!

Shiner came to see us a few weeks ago.  I am amazed at how much he has grown. Below are some pictures taken recently.

October 2008 update:

Griff has become quiet a companion.  He runs with his family and sometimes from them (with treasures in hand oops mouth).  He plays chase and

sometimes lets them get fairly close.  You know how humans are you have to let them think they can catch you.  He has become quiet a handsome lad.

Griff1008.jpg (162196 bytes)    Griff hey what's going on.jpg (65997 bytes) Hey what's going on? Griff toy in hand.jpg (107520 bytes) Toy in paw.

#6)  Lil Ann is the one was chosen out of this litter to remain in the family and become a Mama of Skip's pups.

100_2407.JPG (598608 bytes)    1 week to 10 days old 100_2429.JPG (464398 bytes)     She weighs 2lbs, .78ozs at 2 weeks old.

100_2484.JPG (489026 bytes)    Three weeks and weighs 3lbs and 11ozs.  Can I have belly rubs?

100_2539.JPG (1337475 bytes)    Five weeks old this one is full of spit and vinegar.  Not afraid of anything including Skip.  She gives him fits.

100_2663.JPG (962218 bytes)     Eight weeks & still loving belly rubs.

Recent pictures:  100_2925.JPG (894267 bytes)    100_2924.JPG (755939 bytes)    100_2926.JPG (871559 bytes)

Little Ann is quiet a little mess. She knows her name and loves the extra attention that goes with coming.  She has found her voice now and lets you know when she thinks things are not going the way they should. When she was about 3 months old she decided she was big enough to take a toy away from Skip since he took it away from her.  She had the audacity to growl at Skip.  The first time he just looked at her with a look of shock on his face.  The second time he got MAD.  For days he growled every time he saw her.  One of the funniest things is when Skip, Mitzi and Lil Ann are chasing each other.  When she can't keep up she cries and puts on a real act.

Lil Ann 1 week before her first litter is to be  born.   100_3481.JPG (464314 bytes)    You can't tell it but she is standing on her hind legs.

#7)   Gyp is now living on her ranch.  She is full of energy and takes care to give her people laughs. She has a very special home on a large ranch with lots of cattle. Her name is Gyp

100_2401.JPG (584332 bytes)      1 week to 10 days old.   100_2446.JPG (525231 bytes)    This little one is the smallest of all. Don't know if you can tell from the pictures but she is really looking over where she is.  I think she may be spicy.  At 2 weeks she has really gotten darker and she weighs 2lbs, .04ozs.

100_2498.JPG (485256 bytes)    Three weeks old and very feisty.  She started growling at 2 weeks of age.  She now weighs 2lbs and 11ozs.

100_2537.JPG (901479 bytes)    100_2544.JPG (775718 bytes)    Five weeks & little but has a great personality.  She is a stinker.

100_2627.JPG (960030 bytes)    Eight weeks She is still special.

I can't wait to get new pictures of her.

#8) Scout gets to do blood trailing and hunting.  Fun, Fun.

100_2381.JPG (353562 bytes)    100_2403.JPG (577170 bytes) 1 week to 10 days old         .100_2503.JPG (472158 bytes)     Three weeks old and weighs 3lbs and .02ozs

100_2653.JPG (710559 bytes)    Eight weeks and precious

Well, Scout went hunting his first weekend.  I am sure he was really tired by the time the weekend was over. Scout is doing very well and enjoys hunting.  Following is a picture of him that I recieved.

Chillin.jpg (595910 bytes) Chillin      Scout at 9 months.jpg (605317 bytes)    For this season of deer hunting Scout has a pretty good record for his age.  Out of 5 deer he got 3.  Way to go!!!

Scout relaxing.jpg (383688 bytes)    Here Scout is enjoying the comforts of home.

December 2009 Update: Here is a recent picture of Scout in the deer stand with me (he watches the deer at 15 yrds and does not make a sound). I have some amazing stories on his blood trailing too. I have been around some great dogs in my hunting career and I will put him up against any of them. He has learned not only to bark when he finds them alive and pin them until I get there but when they are dead he comes back to get me, then takes me to them again. He is an amazing hunting partner and the best personality/lovable dog there is.

#9) Bo is a sweet pup.  He has quiet the personality and gets his feeling all hurt if you don't pay attention to him.  We have begun calling him Stormy because a storm brews when he thinks he isn't getting enough attention and then the second my hand goes under his little tummy he gets all happy again.

100_2617.JPG (512227 bytes)    Eight weeks old.  This little one loves to be loved and gets quiet upset when he does not get it.

100_2710.JPG (925711 bytes)    100_2708.JPG (810610 bytes)    100_2718.JPG (918796 bytes)    These pictures were taken at 12 weeks of age.  He is already learning to blood trail.  He is to go to his new home Thursday and he will be doing blood trailing.  He is still a sweet pup.

This one went to a gentleman who has some land in Fredericksburg.  I am anxious to get an update on him.

Bo has a man who he lets go with him just about everywhere he goes.  Even hunting.  Here is a picture of Bo and I am looking forward to getting some more soon.

#10)  This little one now lives with George & Kristen.  Her name is Amiga.  She is doing great and is really happy with all the new things to see and do.   100_2405.JPG (629126 bytes)        1 week to 10 days old      100_2433.JPG (435320 bytes)    This little one weighs 2lbs, .50ozs at 2 weeks.

100_2488.JPG (529640 bytes)    Three weeks old and now weighs  4lbs and .02ozs

100_2655.JPG (422945 bytes)    100_2657.JPG (503191 bytes)

New pictures arrived.  I am so excited.  DCP_1449a.jpg (111501 bytes)    DCP_1407.jpg (156618 bytes)   He's become a real sweet dog and is great with the kids. He enjoys walks and running along side us on bike rides. You'll also see some pictures of bath day and I have to say that this boy is not too keen on water. Is that typical of the breed?  As far as water that is an individual trait.  We have 3 and 3 different takes on water.  Skip loves to get in water (puddles, pools, water troughs) but, does not like to be sprayed.  Mitzi likes to drink it.  THAT IS IT.  Lil Ann loves water any way it comes.  Most of the ones in this litter actually like water.
